The iOS 18.4 beta 2 includes a dedicated Control Center section for key Apple Intelligence functionalities, such as Type to Siri, Talk to Siri, and Visual Intelligence.
Apple is expected to roll out iOS 18.4 — as well as iPadOS 18.4 and macOS 15.4 — to the public around mid-April. This update will finally bring Apple Intelligence to all Indian users, or Apple devices with language and region set to English (India).
Key UpdatesVisual Intelligence Expansion: Initially exclusive to the iPhone 16 series, Visual Intelligence can now be activated on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max via the Action Button, in addition to the Camera Control button.
Control Center Access: Users can toggle Visual Intelligence in three ways:
- Action Button (iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max & iPhone 16e)
- Camera Control (iPhone 16 series)
- Control Center and iOS Lock Screen (all supported devices)
Priority Notifications: This feature allows users to adjust priority settings for individual apps, enhancing control over which notifications are highlighted.
New emojis are also part of the update, including a root vegetable, tired face, shovel, harp, splatter, leafless tree, and fingerprint. Additionally, the Sark flag has been added, and the Syrian flag has been updated to reflect the country’s de facto standard.
For Apple Vision Pro users, the visionOS 2.4 beta now supports Spanish and Italian, along with a new Spatial Gallery app that organises spatial photos, videos, and panoramic shots. This app also features curated content in culture, entertainment, nature, sports, and travel from various artists and brands.
